Pulse has expanded its range of high-power catalogue flyback transformer in the EFD15+ package with the introduction of the PAT6261 series. Using Pulse’s winding automation technology, the series is built with a very small form-factor of 16.5 mm x 22.3 mm x 10.5mm and uses the highly popular EFD core shape construction, known for their adaptability in the SMPS segment.
The PAT6261 is designed as a surface mount component and provides a maximum isolation capability of 1500Vdc between the windings. A high permeability ferrite material is utilized to minimize the number of turns and enable low DC resistance. The parts offer a substantially higher power rating (up to 144W) compared to similarly sized power transformers in the market.
